南京大学社会学位于国内社会学学科第一阵营，始于1927年成立的原国立第四中山大学社会学系和1912年成立的原金陵大学社会学系，是国家重点学科、江苏省优势学科。社会工作、心理学、人类学、人口学等专业，也承接和融汇了早年国立中央大学心理学、边政学，以及金陵大学的诸多学科传统。学院拥有精良师资，现有在职教师64人，其中教授24人，副教授或副研究员17人，讲师、助理教授或助理研究员23人。在职教师均获得博士学位，其中多人在美国、英国、德国、日本等国外知名高校获得博士学位。

南京大学社会学院拟面向全球招聘有志于从事社会学领域各主要研究方向的优秀青年人才到学院工作。本次拟招聘准聘助理教授、准聘副教授总数不超过3名，其中准聘副教授不超过1名，招聘研究方向包括：

The School of Social and Behavioral Sciences at Nanjing University ranks among the top tier of sociology disciplines in China. Tracing its roots to the Department of Sociology at the former National Fourth Sun Yat-sen University (founded in 1927) and the Department of Sociology at the former University of Nanking (founded in 1912), the school is a National Key Discipline and a Priority Discipline of Jiangsu Province. Its programs in social work, psychology, anthropology, demography and other fields have also inherited and integrated the long-standing disciplinary traditions of psychology and frontier administration from the former National Central University, as well as the rich academic legacies of various disciplines from the former University of Nanking.

The school maintains a distinguished faculty of 64 full-time teachers, including 24 professors, 17 associate professors or associate researchers, and 23 lecturers, assistant professors, or assistant researchers. All faculty members hold doctoral degrees, with many having earned their Ph.D.s from prestigious universities in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, and other countries.

The School of Social and Behavioral Sciences at Nanjing University plans to recruit outstanding young scholars worldwide who aspire to pursue a career in the major research areas of Sociology. We now have up to 3 tenure-track positions available (including tenure-track assistant professor and tenure-track associate professor), of which the tenure-track associate professor position shall be no more than 1. The applicant should

4.have outstanding teaching abilities—the applicant should be able to teach core and frontline courses in the corresponding discipline, and have sound teaching methodology and strong verbal skills;
