南京大学计算机学科是我国最早建立的计算机学科之一，学科整体处于国内前列。软件工程、机器学习等方向在与国际同台竞争中形成了特色与优势，在国内外产生重要影响。建立了国内首批计算机博士点、首批国家重点学科、首批国家一级重点学科、首批双一流建设学科；计算机软件新技术全国重点实验室近十五年连续三次获评优秀、国内计算机领域第一。
本院立足国际前沿、面向国家重大需求，围绕新型程序设计与软件方法学、机器学习与智能化信息处理、分布计算与系统安全、媒体计算与内容处理、理论计算机科学等方向，实现了基础研究引领创造技术新突破，建成了包括中国科学院院士、ACM/AAAI/IEEE Fellow、国家级高层次人才9人和国家级青年高层次人才18人在内的“战略科学家引领、中坚聚力攻关、青年潜心克难”的拔尖人才队伍。
南京大学计算机学院拟面向全球招聘有志于从事计算机学科各主要研究方向的优秀青年人才到学院工作。本次拟招聘准聘助理教授岗位、准聘副教授岗位、长聘副教授岗位总数不超过8个，其中准聘副教授岗位不超过3个，长聘副教授岗位不超过2个，具体研究方向包括但不限于：

The Computer Science program at Nanjing University is one of the earliest established, and also one of the most successful, in China. Its strengths in software engineering, machine learning, and other areas have received wide national and international recognitions. In particular, the State Key Laboratory of Novel Software Technology has been consistently ranked as the best computer science laboratory by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China for 15 years.
School of Computer Science currently has a BS, a MS, and a PhD program. Its faculty conduct active research in areas such as novel programming and software methodologies, machine learning and intelligent information processing, distributed computing and system security, media computing and content processing, and theoretical computer science. Faculty members have been elected to the Chinese Academy of Sciences, as well as Fellow of important organizations like ACM, AAAI, and IEEE.
School of Computer Science of Nanjing University plans to recruit young scholars who aspire to have a career in the field of computer science.
